Day No. 2 [BBQ turned pizza, again]

Hi all! it's day number two and i'd experienced my first 'sleeping' and 'waking up' in my room!
last night's sleep was pretty okay, just that there was a few times of waking up and getting back to sleep again. the sleep wasn't totally deep, but i guess that's unavoidable (and reasonable) for the first time sleeping in a totally foreign environment. anyways, overall, the comfort is nice (except for the brand 'new' smell of my bedsheets) =).
i've gotten my groceries for a whopping forty bucks. but i'm satisfied with the quality and quantity of foods i bought. they're low fat, low sugar and nutritious! don't worry, my fam, there are oats, milk, fruits, bread, tuna and many more! i had a great breakfast n lunch too, so pple, dun worry bout my meals and diet... =) i've them under control.
so the grocery shopping, eating and packing took away my morning and afternoon. meanwhile, it started pouring over here. geez! i'm going to have a bbq later and the floor of the balcony will be so wet to sit on! anyways, frens started arriving and the drizzling was still on, a longevity rain indeed. so BBQ action plan was canceled. Frens gave me a little plant that has nice wishes on it! i'm so touched and appreciative of their gift, since the idea of room-warming never crosses my mind, except for a simple bbq evening =) my frens are sooo nice! and they had come a (for some, very) long way and also brought along extra drinks and tidbits to share! they're really nice!!!
hahaha so we went out to the large canteen to have pizza. Luckily the pizza was good and the combo we bought were not too lousy. so much of a relief that at least the food wasn't that bad and as a host, i was relieved. Back to my room, we played this silent heart attack game. it was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo funny and interesting! we thought of so many funny moves that were just oh-so comical and made us laugh for at least a minute or two each. it was really so laughable that i was afraid that this may disturb (or even annoy them to expose my existence) them. the evening visit was rather short, but definitely a heart-warming and funny one. i'm so grateful for their effort in coming up with a gift and delighting wishes and coming all the way here just for a couple of hours =)
i thought of getting a short night jog after they left, but thinkin of the puddles of water on the pavements puts me off the idea. so i ended up watching dramas on laptop. i am drinking a cuppa milk now and i feel warm and satisfied. Going to sleep soon +) sweet dreams
